Hey y’all! It’s September and we are making the perfect transitional garment — the blouse. I find that blouses can be worn throughout multiple seasons AND situations.
The awesome thing about the Rhapsody blouse is that it can be worn in so many different ways. I thought I would share some styling options so everyone could get the most out of this garment.
It’s still in the upper 80s and low 90s here in Georgia so I am loving flowy end of summer looks. Think light weight fabric that blows in the wind when you saunter around the house in the AC. The weather is hot but you can stay cool in a lovely sleeveless blouse that can be worn with shorts or cropped pants.

I’m also really enjoying soft silhouettes paired with more structured garments. I like how it brings an unexpected twist to the business casual options I’ve been exposed to in the past. A blazer can pull together other pieces that may not work as well on their own. It’s an instant look that can make you feel super stylish and comfortable!

Do you have a fancy evening event or special occasion coming up? You could lengthen the Rhapsody blouse into a maxi length dress or add a gathered skirt to create a one of a kind look.

I’m excited to make a few different versions of this blouse and possibly go with a style that I’ve never had in my closet. What style is your favorite? Which style are you most likely to make?
That first pic of the mustard floaty top! That girl looks amazing—I definitely need a second look at this pattern!!!! Love all of your ideas.
